Risk of COVID-19 exposure on planes 'virtually nonexistent' when masked, study shows

https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/risk...ry?id=73616599

Masks clearly work. I still won't be flying, though - too many Trumpkin morons who will remove theirs, or, like this Insane idiot, will slice them. A truly sad, immoral bunch.

Um, yes. Obviously. Took you 7 days in ICU to realize this?

My personal opinion is that those who refuse to wear a mask as advised by the Experts should be denied medical treatment and be legally forced to isolate if they get the virus.

Too nice. They should be locked up together, closely packed, in cages along the Mexican border, without medical care. Maybe they’ll finally understand that treating human beings that way is deplorable.

I'm under the opinion that if a link to anyone not wearing a mask, by contact tracing to an infection. They be charged with assault! Or attempted murder if can be proved they knew was infected!
If a death occurs when unknowing then manslaughter!

One arrested in threat to kidnap and kill Wichita mayor over COVID-19 mask mandate

https://www.kansas.com/news/politics...246513655.html

Quote:
The apparent motive was the suspect’s opposition to “masks and tyranny,” Whipple said.

“He said he was going to kidnap me and slash my throat and he needed my address because I needed to see the hangman — me and everyone who, something about tyranny,” Whipple said.

“It sounded like the person was very upset about pretty much mask mandates and he said something about not being able to see his mother because of COVID restrictions on elderly homes.”
Trumpkins aren't just stupid and whacked out like this Insane clown, they're also dangerous psychopaths.

Birx tells friends she was relieved after Trump adviser Scott Atlas' inaccurate mask tweet was removed

https://www.cnn.com/2020/10/19/polit...rce/index.html

Quote:
Members of the White House coronavirus task force are praising a move by Twitter removing a misleading tweet from top Trump adviser Dr. Scott Atlas that told Americans masks don't work.

The tweet's removal was a "relief" among some task force members, Dr. Deborah Birx told friends over the weekend, according to a source with knowledge of the conversation.

Birx also told friends fighting the virus is "hard enough (without Atlas)."

She also suggested the task force is frustrated by Atlas' ability to find obscure information, label it as data and "present (it) to the President as scientific evidence," an almost insurmountable challenge.

"If he likes the sound of it, he believes it," Birx has said of Trump.

Atlas has emerged as a key influence on the President in recent weeks as the task force and its key public health experts have been swept aside by politics and competing interests.
Atlas is about as qualified on COVID as this Insane clown.

CDC expands definition of who is a ‘close contact’ of an individual with covid-19
The new guidance is likely to have the biggest impact on schools, workplaces and other group settings since more people are likely to be considered at risk.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/healt...e-contact-cdc/

Quote:
Federal health officials issued new guidance on Wednesday that greatly expands the pool of people considered at risk of contracting the novel coronavirus by changing the definition of who is a “close contact” of an infected individual.

The change by The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is likely to have its biggest impact in schools, workplaces and other group settings where people are in contact with others for long periods of time. It also underscores the importance of mask-wearing to prevent spread of the virus, even as President Trump and his top coronavirus adviser raise doubts about such guidance.

The CDC had previously defined a “close contact” as someone who spent at least 15 consecutive minutes within six feet of a confirmed coronavirus case. The updated guidance, which health departments rely on to conduct contact tracing, now defines a close contact as someone who was within six feet of an infected individual for a total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period, according to a CDC statement Wednesday.
Wear that mask! You too, Trumpkin morons.
