Tom, my point of view is not one of naïveté but rather fairness. It simply isn't fair to lump all people in a group as bad, or good.

I was brought up with the notion that if you shot someone who was unarmed you were in deep do-do.

That concept seems to have gone out the window somewhere along the line.
