Not defending in any way. But aren't the SC's ethics rules different? I know the reporting from the talking head legal experts I have seen on the trips that were not reported say no "rules" were really broken. I won't be surprised if it's the same with this. He maybe a sleaze but he is not stupid.

No death penalty, fines removal pulling license sorta stuff seems appropriate!

He should be disbarred. But even that wouldn't get him off the Supreme court. Only impeachment, resignation, or death will do that.
