Apparently, the weeks on the chart number refers to the total number of weeks an album has appeared on the chart - not necessarily consecutive weeks. I assume that albums like Abraxas or Thriller appear on the chart periodically when something piques interest in one of the musicians. I kind of doubt that any of the Christmas albums stay on the chart for long stretches.
