You realize that nobody has to follow those orders?

Oh, there are consequences, but individual soldiers are accountable for being part of the problem(s).

Agreed it cuts both ways. I was horrified at some of the things said about McCain during the campaign. He was tortured for goodness sake.

Kerry, well, strangely I'd have more respect for him if he would've actually tossed his metals. I wouldn't like it at all, and would still say so, but at least he'd have had the strength of his convictions. That's just how I see it.

Hey Pete,
I think you are saying Kerry did not deserve his metals. Correct? How did you come to that assessment? I know the stink that was made during the election. But is there any way to really validate those claims?

Of course it's what he's implying. It's what all of them imply, now, as well as back during the '04 campaign when the swift boat hypocrite liars implied that and worse. Pete plays this cute, innocent, palsy-walsy game with everybody hereabouts (even I have come to enjoy it in some twisted way). Even though there is considerable interpersonal difference, at the bottom of it all, there's little ideological difference between Pete and any of the overtly noxious cons on this forum.

Sorry Pete...but as you said...just how I see it.

Ike, I think that is a pretty harsh assessment of Pete. I have to admit I have not been around as much as I need to be to know for sure.

Also, did you happen to see my challenge post in the current events section under the well being of PC?

Please define navel gazing? I haven't heard that one before.

EDIT - never mind, I found it. Useless self contemplation is one of the definitions I found.
Thanks,
Mark

I think I may be on everyone's black list by the end of the day.
