Former RNC chairman Ken Mehlman: I'm gay

http://voices.washingtonpost.com/44/...en-mehlma.html

And to think this dude was the 2004 campaign manager for Dubya at the very same time that the GOP was trying to put anti-same-sex marriage initiatives on the ballot in states across the country.

It really is mind boggling that Mehlman could have allowed himself to be part of campaign where homophobia was so front-and-center. I think it speaks to the self-hatred that many gays learn from a culture which constantly tells them how sick, abnormal and degenerated they are.

I think Mehlman is to be congratulated for coming out at last. Given his background, it must have been profoundly difficult. Now if he can make a principled break with the Republican party.........

Until I learn otherwise, I'm prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Wow, another queer Republican?

Anyone here ever wonder if Ann Coulter used to be a guy?

I mean, look at that Adams apple....it's HUGE. As big as a football.
