Census fun

Thanks to a 1929 law the House of Congress is capped at 435 members, thus even though all sectors of the nation experienced growth there will be re-distribution of seats. Like the Phoenix the Gerrymander is about to rise again.

Would you really want a bigger collection of morons on the Hill than we already have?

BAM!

The midwest and northeast continues its' slide into decay.

Gerrymandering is as American as apple pie Here in Ohio the GOP controls all the seats on the board. Good times lol.

We have two more "silly seats" in Texas. Good grief, can you imagine?

Yes, and the loss actually means they'll probably draw out two Dems seats From what I understand, even Kucinich is worried.

Something tells me he'd be more trouble out than in though.

And so we the poor electorate will see the deck get stacked, what a totally assinine political system, might just as well stay home in 2012. All those teabaggers that want us to get back to the Constitution, where are their voices now - the silence is deafening.

They're in their tool box, where a tool goes once it has served it's purpose.
Sad, isn't it?

Maybe it is time for a second Constitutional Convention.

Could be. It would be most interesting to see what horrors would arise from that given the current crop of imbeciles and those imbeciles waiting in the wings. Something tells me only the rights of the very wealthy would even matter anymore.

The rest of us would have the right to die working, and very cheaply at that.
