What if the shooter thought he was exersizing his second amendment right against a tyrannical Central govt. Will the NRA defend him?

Nope. Only liberalism is tyranny in their eyes. A deranged authoritarian wannabe doesn't qualify.

It occurs to me that republicans seem to view black, Mexican, LGBT, Muslims and poor people in the same light as Nazi Germans once viewed Jewish people. We must be vigilant that it goes no further.

This could have been a thread for coming together in common human feeling of compassion for the victims of senseless violence, and revulsion at the idea of politics by murder.

One person has seen to it that nothing like that happened.

I hope for a speedy recovery of all persons involved in the incident.

This reminds me a bit of that movie starring Michael Douglas... what's the title of it? An extremely frustrated man who cracks up and starts shooting people...

However - Mr. Hodkingson (or something like that) did the democratic people of America a bad turn. A shame.
