Ok... so we put guns in schools. Big guns like the shooters use.
The shooters will not go to the schools any more.
They will go to a church.
So, we put those big guns in churches too.
Now no shooters will go to churches. But then, they show up at the mall.
So, we put guns in the mall, then the shooters go to the movie theaters... and we put guns there....
And, what about all the other soft targets.... grocery stores, hospitals, concerts, busy city centers, sub ways.....
where do we draw the line? Where does it stop?
How does it stop?

It is not supposed to and that is the whole strategy of NSSF/NRA. Their intend is to sell guns, more guns, even more powerful guns. They wqnt you to believe that only guns, preferably bigger guns will stop gun violence.
Now someone please tell me why I cannot carry a concealed gun into an airplane? Whatever happened to my 2A rights?

The real reason Congress banned assault weapons in 1994 — and why it worked
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...why-it-worked/
But the 1994 assault weapons ban was never intended to be a comprehensive fix for “gun violence” writ large. Its purpose, according to gun violence experts and the lawmakers who wrote the bill, was to reduce the frequency and lethality of mass shootings like the ones in Parkland, Sandy Hook and elsewhere. And on that front, the data shows it had a significant impact.
Klarevas has compiled data on gun massacres involving six or more fatalities for the 50 years before 2016. His numbers show that gun massacres fell significantly during the time the assault weapons ban was in place, and skyrocketed after the ban lapsed in 2004. A separate mass shooting database compiled by Mother Jones magazine shows a similar trend.

Besides voting Repubes completely out of office, which, sadly, will never happen, we can help by contributing to the kids’ gofundme fundraiser here:

And the Gov. Rick Scott who is planning to run for Senate is standing firm on his unconditional support of the NRA, i.e., no gun control. Hope they vote him out.

It's going to be up to motivated formerly apathetic middle and the upcoming young voters to institute meaningful change for things to eventually improve.

John Wayne was an actor!
There are Old Cops, there are Bold Cops, there are very few Old Bold Cops!
I don't know enough about just why but at first blush can't fault the office all alone thinking twice before rushing in to the unknown.
By the NRA;'s logic then evryone in the school should have guns.
More guns equal safety.
