Home from home.

Wonderful idea! A place where grown-ups can talk politics.

He did say introduce yourself, so here goes. Came down here in 1984 from Canada. Back there I was a paid up member of the Conservative Party, but here they seem to think I am a socialist. Really don't care much what people think.

Hey, y'all. I don't know a thing about politics, so don't ask me any questions.

Good to be amongst some familiar faces.

I'm just here for the beer and hot dogs. I'll listen and learn.

Best

I look forward to reading and posting to this new forum. There should be some lively discussions in here.

I hope that we as a PoliChat community will keep a lid on it, as well as modulate the heat to keep the discussion pot from boiling over.

I think it will be great!

Thanks Grumpy.

I'm a disenfrachised non-voter. Socially, I'm a liberal, fiscally a conservative. The Republicans left me behind when they sold out to the religious right, and the Democrats left me behind when they decided to wreck the economy. Now let's see... is there anyone I haven't offended yet?

Oh, by the way, I'm Grumpy's partner in this war zone.
