Yep. If he had maintained the house properly as needed I prob would have paid what he was asking. Even if he had lowered the price to reflect the needed repairs we would have moved anyway. I am too old to live with a major renovation project going on all day.

I will be slap out of cash, but no mortgage.

It will be nice to have a fireplace again - for the 3 weeks a year they are useful down here.

And this will be the last move - they'll have to carry me out of this one on a gurney.
