The last launch I watched was Challengers in 1986.

A bunch of us from work were watching it from the parking lot.

I saw that vapor trail split off into two and the guy next to me said "That don't look right".

I have had no desire to watch another one.

I watched it live in school.

Ugly.

But you don't give up.

I was Best Camper in the initial Space Camp class post disaster. At the time, I didn't understand why all of the adults cried during our "graduation."

The announcer says the vehicle sheds propellant at 4744 lbs/sec. Shoo-doggy. Those are some big fuel injectors. Makes NHRA Top Fuel look like an econowagon.
