I'm actually in Seattle right now because my father was just admitted in hospice and has just a few days to live. He's ninety. Brain tumor.
Interesting thing about my mom and dad. My mother's body is giving out. She has a hard time getting around and needs a walker. Meanwhile, my dad was in the woods with a chainsaw cutting wood last week. But the brain decided it was done. And he's about gone. Actually, his brain pretty much is gone.
When I go, I want to go like him. Asleep with a heavy dose of morphene 24/7, not ten years using a walker to go to the closet to get another Depends.
