As the saying goes, "The cover-up is worse than the crime." This thing is going to drip, drip, drip for a long time. So much for the superiority of the Japanese business model.

Simple. Just forbid Toyota from selling ANY cars in the US until they pony up. Or Nissan, or Ford, Mercedes, Volkswagen, GM, Chrysler, ANY of 'em. This market is too big for any serious car company to ignore, or screw around w/people's lives like that.

They all screw up. More complicated they make 'em, the easier it is to screw up.

I'm developing a new found respect for my rusted out, beat up, POS Power Wagon.

You guys are playing to my fears again. I might just have to start walking everywhere. But then I might get hit by a runaway Toyota.

Regards,

Yeah, but it's new enough to be complicated. It turns my lights and windshield wipers on for me. Next thing you know, it'll forget that it's not in Europe any more, and decide to drive on the other side of the road.

Regards,

D-Ray
