One thing I noticed about that article is the only people they mentioned by name were Democrats. In cases where Republicans' names could have been mentioned all they did was mention their states.

Obviously they've known they had a problem for some time now.
Sure they did. They just don't give a shit. Until they get caught, that is.
And who is it that catches them and brings them to task on it?
But, NO, what we need is LESS regulation.

Read the article and see the sad sellout answer.

The NHTSA still has not been fixed since the Ford-Firestone fiasco, State Farm warned them back in 2007, result nada, nothing. No doubt some Senator has a hold on whoever is supposed to run the agency.

There is the recipe for a truly great farce in our system of government somewhere. Here we have Justice going after companies because they bribed foreign governments to get contracts, but the Supremes say bribery is legal.

Of course, John. I've seen you mention before how FauxNews has the habit of putting a Republicans face and name on the screen, but putting a (D) next to his/her name. (When this person is saying something they don't like of course.) It's just another misleading tactic. These people are full of them.

Take the "Mandated Insurance" issue. Signed into law in Massachussetts by Gov. Mitt Romney (R), correct? And as I recall, it was his idea. But look at how it's always presented by the right-wing media---as a "failed socialist experiment tried in a Blue State". No mention of the fact that it was the brain-child of one of their own. No, no. Never that.

Simple, but effective tactics. Mainly because they know most Americans aren't watching for it.

Regards,
Dave

Let's wait and see what happens, shall we, Pete? The article doesn't point to previous wrongdoing or "sellouts" but you've apparently decided the outcome of any investigation or hearings.

Lucky for Honda that Toyota is getting slammed like this. Hardly anyone is paying attention to their little air bag problem. It was very quietly ongoing before the big blowup but has now been officially declared a recall. Because they want to be open and transparent.

Well add'em up! The Dems are taking care of the imports while using the unions.
