Failed tests before rollout? So the rollout proceeded for political reasons.

The health care industry here wanted the additional federal billions, even if the legislature didn't. Kasich is a conservative politician, but there are people he'll listen to....

But he still stinks of union busting, and anti-abortion tricks.

He fought the Statehouse tooth and nail for the expansion. So far I like the guy, he seems to think big even if he's on the other side on issues. He balanced the budget properly, he tried to tax the frackers more. He's also forged connections in the big cities, which should worry the left!, including backing the mayor of Cleveland & much of city council on their school reform, which btw included a fair amount of union busting stuff, killing tenure to a large degree, pay on performance not time, etc.

Vote for Kasich! He'll protect your God given right to starve.

I don't consider such reforms union busting. SB-5, that removed the right to strike, and the right of teachers to collective bargaining altogether, that was union-busting.

Seniority? That's a big deal.

SB-5, they could collective bargain, but for pay only. Health insurance cost was a fixed % of premiums and iirc vacation was fixed too.

It made pay transparent. Right now, good luck.

Typical that no ome has yet said a word about the private contractor who took all that money and delivered a shoddy product. Oh but I suppose it is allright to do that since it is a private company.

Also, why can Camden NJ now hire far more police officers with the same money (per NPR yesterday evening, something like 30% more cops) since they basically fired the force?
