I don't have much use for the ignore feature...and it's clear to me that this guy is not going to change his behavior no matter how much he is ignored by however many members. Some perps never go away, anybody here who's spent even a small amount of time posting to various forums has probably seen it happen. And these posts are no different from some asshole trying to wreck a forum by repeatedly posting porn pics, or dismemberment pics, or other sick shit with no purpose other than to disrupt the forum. At this point this little weasel is pissed and wants to take down the forum.

I prefer midly moderated or unmoderated forums...I prefer non-banning forums. But in this case...

I'm assuming the management has the capacity to lock him out.

It still just amazes me the way all to many (but not all) gun enthusiasts think. They want bigger, more deadly weapons flooding our society because, ".....people are shooting each other out there and it gets worse every day.". Then they wonder why the government, which is charged with the responsibility to "...ensure domestic tranquility..." keeps trying to pass more strict gun control laws.

In case you have not noticed all I have done is participate in the site. I have gotten nothing but shit from the likes of you and others. I stated posting my own post and they get bombarded with the exact same crap above.

In case you haven't noticed all I have done is to copy what others have done to me. Funny when the hat is switched you find fault in it.

I dunno Dave, just who I am I guess. I don't mind annoying members. I like annoying members. I enjoy interacting with annoying members...it gets my angst out in ways I find inappropriate in civil discourse in the actual world. It's entertainment...when it comes down to it, aren't we here for the amusement factor? Maybe it's a little twisted, but I'm amused by annoying members. Maybe I'm an annoying member to some other members. And then the decent members end up getting into tiffs with each other because somebody posted a quote from the troll and now you're not supposed to quote the troll in your reply to the troll because then some other member can't resist posting a reply and is pissed because you posted the troll's quote. So there's this pressure to put the little shit on ignore. The troll knows it's gonna happen, and it's just another way they disrupt a forum.

But this isn't an annoying member issue anymore. This is a pissant who will, at some point, will do anything and everything he can to take down a forum because he can't get the kind of attention he wants. It starts with shit like the "why benghazi matters" thread. A page of unanswered posts. There will be more pages of one unanswered post after another. More and more stuff that is more and more utterly unrelated to any interactive process. And here it is now in this thread. Bob makes a reasonable post...and the reaction is for no purpose other than disruption.

When this guy wandered in here, his goal was to disrupt the forum.

The troll's procedure:

1. Post outrageous claims, couched in language with insulting implications.
2. When others belittle the claims, belittle them back.
3. When others insult you for insulting them, throw bigger and stupider insults, lots and lots of them.
4. If other refute your claims with rational argument, either don't respond, or insult them.
5. Repeat and repeat, with a few variations.
6. Claim you are the victim, and everybody is mean to you for no good reason.

This is sociopathic. The only thing I don't know is were you born sociopathic, or did you get to be that way in prison. High-school-dropout history suggests the former, but I'm sure prison didn't help. I feel sorry for you, but I want what you are doing stopped.
