He's the only dog we don't let run free out of fear of him being mistaken as being mean and someone shooting him just because of his looks, so I'm guessing that his #2 habbit is normal for a dog. I only let him out of the house on a leash because I don't want him shot because of all the stereotype and some think he looks like a Pitbull even though he doesn't and is a purebred Boxer.. and the most friendly dog one could ask to meet if a body dropped the fear and gave him a chance to be friends. You ever had a dog like that?

I get your point.
Except, if your dog was to attack me the first time he saw me.....
I'd shoot him.
See my point.
When a guy posts a thread that hurls the first insult in the title and every subsequent post is filled with more insults.
People aren't supposed to fight back, Dave?

The "it" are your and ZeroJunks posts..................
Or it could be what Hillbilly steps in when he walks his dog.
Same thing, really.

There are those who prefer to remain civil and show respect for others, and there are those who enjoy acting like children. I wade through it looking for reasonable, honest debate. I find some, but at times it's tiring sifting through all the bs trying to find rational, logical offerings.

Why should anyone "act civil" towards someone who never acts civil towards others?
Perhaps, "Two wrongs don't make a right."? I'll give you that. But, if someone starts acting like certain trolls around here do, I am going to hurl back at least a few times. I'm not going to just sit quietly and be belittled by some conceited, arrogant a-hole who starts conversations by calling people "losers", "pussies" and such.

To break the cycle. To elevate the conversation.
Mom always said "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names can never hurt me"
and
"If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all"
and
"Never wrestle with a pig. You both get dirty, and the pig enjoys it"
Call me old fashioned, but I think those are all good bits of advice.

They are good bits of advice. My Mom used to say the same. Then, she would provoke an argument, because she enjoyed it. She was a pre-internet troll extraordinaire.
I enjoy engaging trolls too. It is great fun and I am addicted. I know this annoys people here, so I try to keep it down, but usually fail miserably.
So, sue me for being human.

If the trolls were subject to changing their minds/POV when presented with an argument that shatters their nonsensical bullshit, it may be worth it. However, they just double-down on their own idiocy.

Right. So why not play with the fool a bit before you ignore him?
