Trump said soybean prices have gone up. They're near decade-lows.

The lies never end with this con man.

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/trump...171400339.html

Trump claims US soybeans have largely held up against his trade war with China. But tariffs have pushed prices to lows not seen since 2008.

"And soybeans are going up, and things are going up," he said at a press conference in New York on Wednesday. "And we've had very little hurt, from what I’ve done. In fact, the markets have gone up, and the farmers are going to do great."

In reality, soybean prices have fallen more than 12% since China placed a 25% import tax on the legume to retaliate against the Trump administration. That country is the largest soybean customer in the world, accounting for more than half of global imports in 2017.

"There's a lot of concern about the future," Gary Schnitkey, a farm management spe************************t and University of Illinois professor, said. "Because [soybean farmers] are going to see much lower prices as a result of tariffs."

The alt-right is calling Taylor Swift a 'traitor' after she broke her political silence to endorse Democrats

Donny’s “good people” are having a meltdown because their fantasy “Ayran princess” doesn’t actually buy into their sick fantasy. F’ing morons.

Gee, Donny’s been real quiet about the Dow lately. Wonder why?

Donny’s USA Today op-ed on health care is an absurd tissue of lies
It’s so dishonest it’s debunked by fact-check links in the text itself.

What if Donny had been in charge as Lehman collapsed 10 years ago?

Today’s meltdown brings that nightmare sharply into focus. This clown administration will have absolutely no idea what to do if things really go south.

In this environment, imagine we have a president who:

• Always thinks about his self-interest first, like the guy who spent time Thursday tweeting about a year-old hurricane as a new one approached.

• Has hired a terrible team, with a cable-news commentator running the National Economic Council and a Treasury secretary in Steve Mnuchin who lies almost as often as Trump does.

• Reads basically nothing, and who, according to Woodward’s book, absorbs information slowly and can’t be moved off of believing in old wives’ tales about economics, as when he told former NEC chief Gary Cohn that he couldn’t say why international trade is bad but he had known it for years.

• Caters every move to his “base” of voters who, simplifying slightly, wanted to let them all rot. And which, years later, often argues banks and General Motors GM, -0.15% should have been allowed to fail.

Some modest suggestions of what might happen include:

• Trump would still tweet about Puerto Rico, and Paul Manafort, and suggest the crisis was Fake News.

• He would get news about the financial collapse from “Fox & Friends.”

• He would move slowly, if at all, and more banks would fail as Trump failed to attract bipartisan support for a bailout package. General Motors would collapse as Trump declined to lend it money, not comprehending that credit markets were locked up, making a private-sector rescue impossible. Chrysler would follow.

• Merrill Lynch might collapse, as Mnuchin lacked the respect from bankers like Jamie Dimon of JPMorgan Chase JPM, -0.23% (whom Trump also tangled with on Twitter this week) to get Bank of America BAC, +0.03% to merge with Merrill, as Paulson and Bernanke did.

• And he’d likely spend time on his own portfolio, since he never put his assets in a blind trust.

From there? Who knows? Contagion would be loose, and Trump’s main goal would be to shift the blame before November’s election.

And to tweet about Mueller, fiddling while markets and jobs burned.

Seems like Swift has mobilized her fans in Tennessee, a spike of 60,000 new voter registrations is being credited to her Instagram post.

Donny blames The Fed

But of course! Takes all the credit for tailwinds of Obama’s great economic recovery in first year, now blames Fed for this rout, which should properly be blamed on the Repubes’ disastrous tax cuts, and loosening regulations, not just the Fed. But his Trumpkins will take his word, and blame whoever he does. Let’s hope a real meltdown isn’t starting...

https://www.cnn.com/2018/10/10/polit...rve/index.html

Trump blamed the Federal Reserve for Wednesday's 832-point stock dive.

"I think the Fed is making a mistake. They're so tight. I think the Fed has gone crazy," Trump told reporters on the tarmac in Pennsylvania.

"It's a correction that we've been waiting for for a long time," he said of the more than 800-point drop.

"I really disagree with what the Fed is doing," Trump said.

Hey Donny, the Dow took another huge dump today. You bragged about it on the way up, guess who owns it now, moron? Maybe you’ll learn to STFU? Doubtful...

Donny’s tax returns could be his greatest vulnerability, especially if Democrats retake the House

Fingers crossed that, despite Russian meddling, voter suppression and all the gerrymandering, the Dems take back the house, and Donny finally pays for his lifetime of crime.
