It again proves that some folks have no clue what socialism means.

You're right. I'll add that to my list of what the Occupy folks are about.

What does it mean?

Or better yet, what does it mean to you?

Good for them. Maybe they'll be better at that, than they were at driving a forklift?

Are you saying there has been no "Class Warfare" coming from the right? I wonder who funds all of this anti-labor propaganda? Let's see; Who benefits most directly from tax cuts for----the 1%? Oh, there's class warfare being waged against the working class alright. It's just that the high dollar propagandists on the right are much better at what they do.

It proves, after a century of evidence to the contrary, that some folks still think socialism is the answer.

It proves that hate can be a powerful motivating force.

It sure is. Do terms like "Welfare Queen", "Union Thug", "Godless Progressives", etc., etc. sound familiar? Yes, hate is a very powerful motivator. Just ask Rove, Beck and Limbaugh, they've made tons of money off of it.

It proves that folks some folks would rather be taken care of than take care of themselves.

Some folks have no choice, and you damn well know it. You just don't care because cutting them off might save you some pocket change. What was that about the "Love of Money"?

It proves that some folks are dumb enough to think that the government can fix economic injustice, while centuries of evidence demonstrate that more often than not governments are the cause of economic injustice.

Wow. How quick do you think any "social injustice" gets "fixed" without government intervention? Let's see, for how many centuries has slavery (For example) existed in societies where no one intervenes? Hmmmmm? No. You identify the injustice and you put a stop to it. It's not perfect, but it works. A hell of a lot quicker than waiting for divine intervention, that's for sure. I can't help but wonder how many choirboys were raped over the last 2,000 years waiting for the Catholic Church to grow a conscience?

There's plenty more, but the server may lack the capacity.
Your arguments are still as weak as always, I see.

I suppose, a few years from now, if unemployment is back down to 4-5% that it will still be because "millions have stopped looking"?......Unless, of course, the Republicans regain the Whitehouse and the congress. Then we'll get handed an entirely different "reason".

Because someone has "quit looking" doesn't mean they are still unemployed?

Well I guess I am now in demand, 'cause I just heard the Talking Heads saying the "new" language is "Code". If you want to get a job your resume must state that you know "Code". What they mean is that you must be able to program computers. Now that is all fine and dandy but which "Code" - Fortran? COBOL? C? BAL? BASIC? PL/1?

They announced this like it was the greatest discovery since the wheel, but they really did not know what in hell they were talking about.

They even said a company put out a wanted ad but it was all written in "Code" so only programmers could read it.
