He is the fortunate one: He and his police commissioner hustled 9/11 big time.....he became a millionaire but the commissioner went to prison.

here is a guy that studied to be a priest that wound up screwing his girlfriend a few doors down from where his wife and kid were sleeping while he was having the homeless picked up off the streets of NY and placed in "camps" in upstate NY.

The guy repulses me.

He was finished, but he was also the right guy for 9-11. Remember when the one arab gave a check to the 9-11 fund, started mouthing off about how it was our fault? Rudy practically kicked his ass off the stage and threw the check at him.

Oh and NYC is now one of the safest cities its' size in the world.

pete, with all respect I lived in NYC under Giuliani

He was in the right place at the right time as far as crime goes

what he did do was remove the poor from Manhattan and moved the sex shops out of times square

this had little impact if any on crime but had a great impact on perception

then he was a master at taking credit

I always wanted to visit NYC. Was it an OK place to live?

Actually, the same thing happened in most major US cities. The sharp rise and decline were tied to crack cocaine, not the name of the mayor. DC's graph looks the same as NYC's.
