Grumpy as hell... Got my shoulder clipped by the surgeon last week. He removed some of the bone from the acromion and touched up the rotator cuff.
First surgery for me (other than sutures for getting too close to something sharp.) Minimal cutting, four little holes (got the staples out Friday)arthroscopically done. It looks like somebody took a hammer to my arm though!
Good thing they gave me a big bottle of hillbilly heroin.

Those damn orthopeds would have fit right in during The Inquisition. When I fractured my ankle, they had my leg in a vise during surgery. Hammers, chisels, drills, and hardware are their tools.

Count yourself as being one of the lucky ones. I have a six inch scar across the front of my shoulder were they went in to reattach my rotator cuff. Good luck with your recovery.
