Hadacol - As Good as it Gets
The Vines - Highly Evolved
The Cranberries - No Need to Argue
Jeff Buckley - Grace
Jethro Tull - Aqualung
I am really liking these new/old speakers. The combination of the 12" woofers and horns is nice. It seems like I am enveloped in the music.
Regards,
D-Ray

Another chance to see Sobriquet tonight. They're playing the Bottleneck in Lawrence. We are driving to Oklahoma directly from the show. I guess I better take a nap.
Regards,
D-Ray

Rock Me Baby on now. A great rendition featuring Jorma and Jack, Mexico up next - "Tongues of gold and green comin' up here from Mexico". Anyone remember Oaxacan spears?

Caught a couple of hours of BBC radio on the way down, and then found a jazz show for the last two hours into Bixby. A lot of good vocal jazz, and a little bit of new age stuff.
Regards,
D-Ray

What a wonderfil day! There is only about a month before we enter my favorite time of the year: fall and winter. The tourists will be gone, children will be back in school, beaches will be less crowded, football returns, and it will get dark earlier. Hurray!
Anyway, here's yesterday's selections:
Ricki Lee Jones ST 1979
Renee Olstead Skylark 2009
Sarah McLachlen Live Acoustic EP 2003
PJ Harvey Stories From The City 2000
Sam Brown Stop 1988

That Rickie Lee Jones album has had many many spins in my house.
The shorter days are always slightly melancholy for me. For several years, my son and I played catch nearly every night that it was light enough to do so after I got home from work. In April we were always anxiously anticipating daylight savings time. When October arrived, we knew that our sessions would be on hold for several months.
Regards,
D-Ray
