Lightbulb Jobless Rate at 5.9

So much for the frightwing meme that the economy under President Obama is in dismal shape...

Yes there are structural problems, i.e. stagnant wages, but only a loon would say that we are rolling backwards.

From the above link.
"But Republicans were quick to seize on negative data, including evidence that wage growth isn't picking up even if the labor market is healing. Lackluster wage growth is one of the key reasons many Americans still aren't personally feeling the effects of the improving economy. The government reported Friday that average hourly earnings actually inched down one cent in September to $24.53.
“President Obama inherited a tough economy, no doubt. But his economic leadership has held our economic recovery back during the last five years," Rep. Kevin Brady (R-Tex.), chairman of the Congressional Joint Economic Committee, said in a statement. "He can spin it as much as he likes, but the worst recovery of President Obama’s life is his own,” WaPo

Leave it to a Teapublican wingnut to try to "spin" it. Obama Derangement Syndrome? You betcha.

What else can one do when you can't make any of your talking points using the truth?

Right; Wage stagnation is the fault of the president that favors raising the minimum wage and not the people we watch doing everything they can to pinch a penny from us at work? The people that constantly complain that "...the American workers have priced themselves out of a job..."

When are more people finally going to see what liars these Republicans are? They do everything they can to keep us down and have half of the country believing it's for our own good.

Obama is doing the best he can in the face of unrelenting Republican obstructionism and downright economic sabotage.

In this day of multimedia, one not only has to do the deed but also articulate them and take credit. Obama is very poor at articulating his policy or message. His two leaders, Pelosi and Reed have little credibility with the voters.

In contrast remember how Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld sold the Iraq war gaining 70% popular support?

It's a lot easier to whip up a mob for a war. Especially when there is no draft so the mob doesn't have to worry about themselves or their loved ones going. It's like a Pep ralley for a Friday nite football game.
