Defending the middle class

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...041602567.html

Sounds more like "Defending the Democrat's ass" to me.

They're just seeking out a focus-group tested mantra. Kinda like Dubya and his compassionate conservatism (whatever that was).

Sounds like advertising to me. Defending the middle class? Sure, I guess. Beat's "Bluing to make things white". I never got that. Why doesn't it make things blue?

Might be a good line for the Tea Party though - with a small change. Booing 'till make things white again. Admittedly, a cheap shot.

I was always impressed by his Pa's "thousand points of light".

Neil Young did a good job on that one

I have that particular Neil Young on CD, I like his earlier work better. I've never heard Rage Against the Machine, as far as I know.

My taste in music has mellowed over the years. I'm considering building a dedicated listening room which resembles an elevator...if that tells you anything.

They're very good and very left wing. They covered Springsteen's "The Ghost of Tom Joad" very well. Springsteen and Rage's guitarist Tom Morello performed it together at Pete Seeger's 90th birthday concert. It was pretty damn good.

Thought Daddy Bush was the "Compassionate Conservative"? Dubya was "The Decider".

They are given a hundred bucks, Bennies are what the First Amendment calls a 'petition', at least that is what SCOTUS says.
