In my neighborhood the poor generally don't go to work. There are few jobs worth having, so why should they?

Must be all those years of excellent Republican governance?

Well all of that is changing, here in the Old Dominion. The GOP is rapidly falling apart, here.

All in all I hope the F-150 is still a winner. Just hoping that the big boys got
this shit right. The F-150 is Americana.

I hope so, too. It's a beautiful truck. I like the huge moon roof.

Speaking of automotive jobs;

Did you know they used to build the F-150 here, in Norfolk.

They dumped these people and moved it to Michigan in 2009. I don't blame them, these people are lazy as hell. I would never build a factory here. Cheaper and more docile isn't everything as some of these transplant employers are slowly discovering.

They're bewildered as to why my company is pouring millions into the New Jersey plant, but beginning to scrooge us, despite the higher labor and tax costs. Word is, it's because they actually WORK and know what the hell they're doing.

Fancy that.

Dave

I was thinking in a few years (4) I will buy one of these aluminum F-150s
23 mpg highway is sort of in my Honda CRV/Honda territory

I guess I can give Ford Credit a third round of car payments so I can claim patriot status lol to be

My CRV is at 263,500 right now...I hope it will last a few more years
