Syracuse? Wouldn't it be NYFlaCalTenn, then?

(Hmmmmm, following that model, I would be OhTennCalOhVa...)

Anyhow. Looks like being Jewish worked to your advantage, getting one more day a week of education than the Catholics did.

I always thought I had an excellent education available to me in the Newton Falls Exempted Village, Ohio public ed. system. Too bad I didn't take better advantage of it, being more interested in girls, beer, rock-n-roll and weed than the "3 Rs". But, I've always considered that my own fault, not the schools.

PS for me too, including a stint in an English one during 6th grade.

I also "hope" for the best for all students but the reality is counter to politically-correct statements made nowadays. College is not for everyone. Vocation is not for everyone. Journeymanship is not for everyone. Entrepreneurial pursuits as well. Let people have options and they'll sort it out.

I guess my name would be SDILMDPAENGPAOHMD then!
My avatar... anyone know?

Well I spent the evening watching Waiting for Superman.. I'm totally depressed. If you believe as I do that the majority of kids in failing schools can be salvaged with the right attitudes and methods -- don't watch it..

It'll rip your heart out and make you want to cry... I'm done for the evening..

Missed the middle, not surprising since some doofus up there adopted the twp letter abbreviations, trying to copy the U.S. I guess. Quebec (Que) Ontario (Ont) and Maryland. Only three places, bit of a stick in the mud, but I have travelled extensively.
