I guess that's why you want him to be your surrogate in your vendetta against me.

I have no vendetta against you Tom. I do resent, however, being called a 'Bagger, a racist, a bigot and a KKK sympathizer for not buying into the discredited meme that Michael Brown was executed. I'll get over it though.

From the same rant...

"Barkley didn’t stop with Ferguson or the media. He criticized President Obama’s handling of ISIS. “Obama needs to put some real bodies over there and start shooting those damn guys from ISIS. We can’t wait any longer, those guys are getting out of hand,” he said. “We can’t just bomb them from a distance, they have to put boots on the ground, they have to go over there and shoot them. We need to put some bodies on the ground and shoot them dead.”" WaPo

Gotta love it when a pampered sports figure starts offering advice to the President of the United States.

I dig Sir Charles. He cracks me up and is one of the most entertaining and interesting figures in sport, along with Steve Spurrier. Interviews with either of them are bound to live you laughing while scratching your head. They're the Joe Bidens of the sports world.

I'm digging on the Rams after yesterday. That took real balls compared to Barkley's juvenile rantings on the radio but then I don't give much credence to blowhard sports announcers. Mebbe he was channeling Jimmy the Greek's ghost.

While I support their right to do it (though it isn't a 1st Amendment issue as some have asserted), I can also see why the police (and the NFL are pissed). Our system of justice presumes innocence and the grand jury didn't indict Wilson because the preponderance of credible evidence supported his version of events. It's an "in your face" to the cops who risk their lives in those communities.

Hardly Joe Biden speaks English and knows how to get things done. All Barkley wants to do is send more of our young men and women into harms way, but lacks the cojones to put his money where his big mouth is. He would rather sit in his cushy chair behind his microphone and mouth off.

'Uncle Tom' is a racial slur.

Fun how big that pie got. Funny too how the Constitution has broadened at the same time.

Because while everybody thinks everybody else's piece is too large, everybody also believes that their piece is too small. So, they compromise a bake a bigger pie.
