The deficit is falling

at a faster rate than any time since the end of WWII.

Soon Fox News will credit Paul Ryan for the good financial news claiming his workout photos inspired the lazy 47% to get off their gubmint fed lard asses and get back to work at Walmart, so they can work for nothing, and sit on their gubmint fed lard asses when they get off work.

That photo is saving the country. Thanks Paul, you are a true patriot.

Consumerism. People are finally spending money.....Low and behold, demand is created, people go back to work, earn a paycheck and pay taxes. Maybe what we need to do is cut pay, lay some more worker drones off and give the Walton family a 2% taxcut.....That'll get things moving.

Regards,
Dave

Giver the source of the story, it appears that the 1% are playing a game. They are saying look, the economy is recovering, no need to tax us more.

Wink, wink back atcha, assholes.

That's sort of like saying that there's 3.1% less water going over Niagara Falls. Someone can probably measure it, but most folks probably won't notice the difference.

For the GOP narrative, yes.

I lost 3.1% of my weight and many people noticed. Believe it, you can see the difference between 250 and 242.

To use weight, I gained 200 lbs but am now losing a little, quickly... it's like saying houses lost 30%, and are now gaining at the fastest rate ever (still down 25% though)

Congrat mp btw.
