Chavez:Bringing home Venezuela's gold.

Chavez has decided to bring home Venezuela's gold which is in overseas banks.
It really appears that this guy likes to ruffle western feathers.

Yeah, it is not the amount; it is the idea. WTF everybody starts to repartriate their assets......powerful, well connected banks would not like that.

You're right, I think Obama did some serious damage when he jumped on that "apology tour" as soon as he got in. Those people don't respect that kind of thing. They respect strength, and bullets, and big ICBMs. Reagan would just slap the shit out of Chavez and tell him to sit down and STFU.

Funny how well the old approach worked. Seemed the whole world was pissed at us.

What lost the US the respect if the world was going into a bunch of stupid, unnecessary wars, and then not winning. That brought the blood in the water which is bringing in the sharks.

Outside of pretending to care Obama has continued our bipartisan foriegn policy.

No old approach or new approach outside of playacting. Unfortunately appearance matters mightily, and now somehow the mighty US is seen as weak? That would indeed be on Obama's shoulders.

I do not understand this Reagan thing! What happened in Lebanon? Afterwards we invaded a postage stamp size Island with a lot of hoopla.

Nope!
Happened long before Obama took power. Bush and his Mission Accomplished did it.
