I used to rent, rebuild and service Bostich and Senco nail guns.. and I'm with Wgrr on this... We used to see who could make one stick from the furthest distance.. over about 4 feet, you're gonna be super lucky to get two out of 100 to stick in cork

Someone had to have been real close to that hawk to stick it.

Yeah, I'm sure some OWS guy had a nailgun and compressor at a the site.. (or a propane gun)

DJ. you're so screw up trying to pin anything on anything that doesn't fit your warped perception of the world... you need to get out more..

You were lucky with the rib catching the nail. I bet it still hurt.
Do you work on chillers?

Hell I have three Porter Cable guns and the compressor and there is no way to fire them unless the gun is pressed against the wood. But We would not want to let facts get in the way of dj's hate campaign.

At the cabinet shop I worked at they taught a kid how to use a gun that fired wide shallow staples.

He didn't understand. He held the gun nose up, pressed his hand firmly on the safety, and pulled the trigger. The tips came through the back of his hand and the wide part split the palm.

Worst I saw, but we weren't using framing nailers either. I got used to pulling staples out of my hand/arm.

That shop was anti-safety conscious. The old timers were all zonked on pills and the equipment had all the safeties ripped off. I'm still surprised I didn't see a limb come off.

watched a kid sever all the fingers off of his right hand using an old sheet metal shear. We threw the fingers in a cooler that had ice in it and rushed him to the hospital. They did a good job of sewing them back on. The cuts were very clean.

Sad to say I have driven finish nails and sheet metal screws into my hands many times.

My grandfather nailed his thumb to a board using a roofing barb and a ball peen hammer.

Takes a plumber to do something like that.

Of course not.

They're too busy raising my work comp rates.

Been a few years, but BOstich all you had to do is pull the nose safety back with your left hand, then keep on pulling the trigger for fast simi-auto fire. Not sure if they redesigned the or not... .You could hold te trigger down and bump fire them as fast as you could hit he board..
