Gaddafi killed?

It has not been confirmed, but most of the news outlets are indicating that Gaddafi was killed or seriously wounded in his home town.

Just read in the Boston globe that he was captured by the Libyan NTC.

Huge difference between a country with a Muslim population and a Muslim country. Kinda like Iran before and after the revolution. I'm thinking Libya will slowly become another Iran.

I believe that the comparison between Iran and Libya is not a good one. More like Egypt is what I think will happen. In Iran the revolution was driven by the Religious sector and implemented by the students. The U.S was backing the ruling party at the time, just the opposite of what is happening now in Libya.

I say they'll go more the direction of their neighbors Algeria and Tunisia, and hopefully even further in the direction of Morocco (though doubtful). They have nothing in common with Iran.

As for them being a Muslim country, ..... duh!!! Hell, Indonesia and Turkey are pretty much Muslim countries. BFD.

But there is definitely a radical Muslim fringe looking to export the revolution wherever they can.
