"A White House climate adviser resigned Wednesday after failing to receive a permanent security clearance, becoming the latest member of the Trump administration to leave amid scrutiny of the background checks of presidential advisers.
George David Banks, who was serving as a special assistant to the president for international energy and environmental policy, exited after learning from White House lawyers that he would not be granted the permanent clearance, according to two officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss personnel matters." He sounds like a Teabaggin' reality-denier. Good riddance. Time for Kushner to resign or be dragged out in chains.

He did work for Inhofe after all. It really looks like the wheels are coming off the Trump Train these days.

More than 100 White House staffers lacked permanent security clearances as of last November, CNN reports, and its unclear whether those officials have gained clearance since. They included Jared Kusher, Ivanka Trump, Press Secretary Sarah Sanders and White House Counsel Don McGahn.

What a bunch of feckin' grifters. I wouldn't buy a used car from any of them.

You know who has permanent security clearances? Every member of special counsel Mueller's team.

Oh snap!

Preet Bharara's homeboys may be planning to pull a Capone on Trump at a later date. He has not been shy about taunting the Dotard.

This is an Oh Fuck moment. Do you know who all don't?
The dynamic duo of Javanka!

Scores of top White House officials lack permanent security clearances

Quote:
WASHINGTON — More than 130 political appointees working in the Executive Office of the President did not have permanent security clearances as of November 2017, including the president’s daughter, son-in-law and his top legal counsel, according to internal White House documents obtained by NBC News
Could this be Fake News?
Quote:
A total of 34 people who started their government service on Jan. 20, 2017, the first day of the Trump presidency, were still on interim clearances in November.

Among them are White House counsel Don McGahn, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and White House deputy press secretary Raj Shah, who had only interim clearances to access the most sensitive government information, according to the documents. Each of them had obtained permanent clearances to access top-secret materials, a lower clearance that would prevent access to information, for example, in the president’s daily intelligence brief.
