I thing the Dems are in need of, keep remembering back to a time when the Republicans played the delay game effectively stymieing Obama. Causing him to do his actions on DACA along with many other issues by Executive order.
The reason we are at this point is due to the complete lack of governing by the other party. In a year the only accomplishments legislatively so far a tax cut for the wealthy and a shut down.

Or as fake as the Dem's tenuous negotiating position. They were given essentially everything they wanted and still opted to for the shutdown. Seems like a shutdown was something the Dems wanted to use as a tool to rile up their base than it was an exercise in negotiations.

This shut down was primarily caused by your Dotard since he reneged on the bi-partisan DACA deal that had been drafted. Bedsides this is only an extension, not the actual budget.

When is the GOP going to actually submit a real budget?
Funding the military temporarily is governance?

Of course, this is just kicking the can down the road to Feb. 8th.
Two questions, will the GOP actually bring a budget proposal in the next week or two?
Will they have a discussion of a DACA bill? Not if Ryan has anything to say about it.
So this could very well bounce between the House and the Senate till yet another looming shutdown on Feb. 8.

How sad, Dems are letting the facists kick the can down the road some more. The Nazi in the W.H. and his Libertarian goons are never going to stop this tactic until the Dems quit bending over first chance they get. I think independently all the time. Do you ever respond to posts without the Dems providing talking points? That's exactly what you posted above.

The "bi-partisan DACA deal" wasn't just a "DACA deal". It was an an immigration reform bill that failed to resolve a number of disagreements, not only with the White House but with other Senators involved in the talks. It provided token funding for the border wall which Trump insisted was a requirement, and a token reduction in chain migration.

Now, to your other question about the budget: again, you may be suffering from old or bad talking points. A 2018 budget was already submitted by the White House 10 months ago, and and the Senate passed its own version of the budget in October, and the House voted to adopt the Senate's version of the Budget later in Oct. What's at issue now is final spending package, not the budget itself.
