Nice to see an NBA legend talking sense
I didn't like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar when he first came up, because I was tired of the UCLA dynasty. I learned to appreciate him more as he spent more time in the league. He had a huge collection of jazz albums. One time his main contract demand was to put Abdul-Jabbar instead of just Jabbar on his jersey, because his surname was composed of the full hyphenated word. In other words, despite his huge talent, he had his head on straight. His level-headedness shows in this story, in which he proposes a minimum age of 21 for the NBA. Sounds like a good thing for the NBA and for the NCAA.
