Also, the article, really a column, not reportage, was by a Mona Charen, best known as the author of these edifying tomes:
"Useful Idiots: How Liberals Got it Wrong in the Cold War and Still Blame America First"
"Do-Gooders: How Liberals Harm Those They Claim to Help — and the Rest of Us"
So, you have a Right Wing hack, fronting for a Right Wing anti-abortion group, who writes a column in the Right Wing rag, the Washington Times. Then three Right Wing congressmen in a Republican controlled House under the leadership of Dick Armey get this thing on the floor for a vote and it passes. But, apparently, the thing stunk so badly that the Republican-controlled Senate failed to pass a similar resolution.

Let's not all be so naive, what kind document would you like to damage your opponents? I have three computers and can print standard letter, business, 11 x 17 or all the way up to 36 x 48.

Let's also consider that this "scandal" arose 11 years ago and quickly disappeared. That's several lifetimes in politics. Does anyone think for one moment that if there was any substance to this at all the Right Wing and the anti-abortion crowd would have let go of it? Really?

A lot of this reminds me of the guy who made counterfiet bill, he figured everyone suspected twenties so he made sixteen dollar bill, as in $16.00.

Sounds like Rep. Smith's source is about as good as Rep. Goober's source for the Terror Babies story.

Obama exists. Does that make him a Muslim terrorist?
Do you think someone would have concocted a hoax like this about a non-existent company?
As I said, Pete, this came up 11 years ago and quickly and quietly disappeared. Do you really think that would have happened if there were any truth to it?
