We can call the current leadership fascists (Meatball Ron), racists (Tuberville), hate mongers (Trump), etc. But their driving force is easy access to money and as long as their base of White nationalists are continuously with fed anti Democrat, anti abortion, anti LGBTQ, anti immigrant messages which Faux effectively does, these people will continue to fork over the money. In their minds, this is their patriotic duty. Governance is the least of their expectations.

So unless the money stream stops, nothing will stop these GOP politicians from changing their message.
