I'm a Newbie from the Desert

I'm an old hand at political forums and even wrote for two of them until I was thrown out for warning about a impending Theocracy being displayed by the Conservatives.

I started with Etherzone in 1993 and Capitol Hill Blue where I wrote for the home page. This did not work well for me. Back in 1946 I was rounded off the beach in Malibu and put into an all girl's school where my surfing days were over. I loved it. I found Darwin's "Origin of the Species" and never again went to church.

I have 3 grown children and 2 married grandchildren.

My interests are Grand Opera and Shakespeare in all forms. I was married to a college professor of nuclear physics and never once understood a word he said. It gave me time to read.........

I live in the California desert near Palm Springs and get my exercise in the club house pool. I'm still a hermit and work only for civil rights for everyone.
