Trump: I don't need daily briefings
The more I see of Trump, the more I like him.
Having meetings purely for the sake of having a meeting is bullshit.
After working 31 years in government, 35 if you count my 4 years in the military, I can't begin to tell you how many boring ass meetings I had to sit through where nothing important was discussed or accomplished. And there's always a few assholes that will prolong it because they like to hear themselves talk, or they are trying to impress the boss. If something important comes up where you need to have a meeting to discuss it by all means call one. But having a "same shit, different day" meeting, forget it.

President-elect Donald Trump said he does not need to receive the presidential intelligence briefing every day, suggesting in an interview aired Sunday that such briefings are repetitive and he is happy to rely on those around him on matters of intelligence and national security.
“You know, I'm, like, a smart person. I don't have to be told the same thing in the same words every single day for the next eight years. Could be eight years — but eight years. I don't need that,” Trump said. “But I do say, ‘If something should change, let us know.’”

You buy that?
This is about the CIA being an internal enemy, until he can manage a purge.
They know too much about him.

Just another indication of how unqualified he is for the job. Although he/you do have a point.

I would start with any personnel that were working there during the run up to the Iraq War. Purge them first for lying about Iraq's WMD.

Truth is, the CIA never found a spec of evidence that Saddam had WMD. But when they said that, they were ordered to give Bush what he wanted, that's all.

In the real world this means "I haven't a clue, I'm in over my head and just don't understand this shit."
What kind of POTUS would rely on somebody else, especially crooked fascists, to be honest?

I interpret the OP as "I want somebody as intellectually lazy and belligerent as I am as President." Ignorance loves company.

Meeting is a group of people that collectively decide that nothing can be done, so they call for another another meeting out of frustration. And the cycle continues.

Then instead of going along with it, they should have refused and gone public and told the whole wide world that Bush and Cheney were lying. Then they might have saved hundreds of thousands of lives. But instead they opted to save their cushy GS-15 jobs. That's why I don't trust the bastards any farther than I can shot put a 1958 Buick V-8 Engine block.

That's not how it works, even in your fevered mind. The CIA often doesn't know exactly all the details, it evaluates evidence/sources and comes up with its best judgment. It provides the judgment to the President to act upon as he chooses. From what I gather, the CIA were not convinced of a WMD program, but were also not certain that one didn't exist. It would be a criminal offense for a CIA operative to come out with enough detailed classified information to cast doubt upon Bush's decision. Morever, you can't prove a negative. BTW, Valerie Plame and her husband did come out to express doubt. It didn't go well for them, nor did it stop Bush.
You criticize Bush/Cheney for disputing the CIA's doubtful assessment of Iran's WMD while praising Trump for disputing the CIA's take on Russia's involvement in the election. You can't have it both ways.
