Comey should sue Trump for defamation and get him deposed in a civil case.

Trump should whip up his audience to go out and buy Comey's book and then burn it. That will show Comey what they think of him.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A new national security aide to U.S. Vice President Mike Pence stepped down on Sunday, only two days after being officially named to the job, after a behind-the-scenes White House argument hit the headlines, a White House official said...
Pence’s office had announced on Friday that Jon Lerner, a senior aide to United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley, would become Pence’s top adviser on foreign policy issues. By Sunday night, the vice president’s office had issued a second statement that Lerner had withdrawn...
President Donald Trump had been become upset, the White House official said, when he was told in error that Lerner was a so-called “Never Trumper” - a term that describes anti-Trump Republicans. Lerner had backed Republican Senator Marco Rubio during the primary race to pick the party’s candidate ahead of the 2016 presidential election.

Trump’s Greatest Fear
https://www.theatlantic.com/politics...siness/558110/
It’s impossible to know what the president wants so desperately to hide, but every threat to examine his business dealings produces frantic defensive maneuvers.
The president continues to waffle over what to do about Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe—fire Mueller? Fire Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein?—but for the moment, he seems content with bluster. As federal prosecutors in New York circle his longtime fixer Michael Cohen, however, Trump’s legal team has sprung into action, seeking the right to review and withhold documents seized from Cohen. Meanwhile, well-sourced reporters at The New York Times and Axios both say that Trump is much more rattled by the Cohen case than by Mueller’s investigation.

That almost sounds like Nixon's scheme to review the tapes he made in the Oval Office back in the day.
No wonder comedians are calling this whole affair 'Stupid Watergate'.

Trump puts the brakes on new Russian sanctions, reversing Haley’s announcement
Haley is one of the very few Trump appointees even remotely qualified for the job. Donny just threw her under the bus.
