Not really...it was just never used before as a weapon against the American economy because we did not have a black President. I really believe that.

As do I. This holding our country's economy hostage to pay for what has been budgeted and spent is beyond ridiculous.
I hope he does do the 14th amendment thing if it's needed rather than play this game these tea bagger two year olds.

The idea here isn't just the failed one of making sure that our first non-white president is a one-termer but to so poison his presidency that there will never be a repeat of this "catastropic error" on the part of the electorate ever, ever again.

Is that as in "wheelbarrow"?
What else would you do with an irresponsible congress?
Act like a child, get treated like one.

Apart from anything else, and there are several other things, refusing to raise the debt ceiling isn't refusing to borrow. It's refusing to repay money Congress already borrowed.

Why is the Tea House being irresponsible and not authoring a budget that a sane person would vote for?

So, the next time you get your electricity bill, tell the utility company that you won't pay until your landlord agrees to lower your rent.
