Ex-drug CEO Shkreli convicted

Former drug company CEO Martin Shkreli was convicted Friday on three counts of deceiving investors in hedge funds.

The 34-year-old faces years in prison, according to CNBC.

Shkreli became notorious for hiking the price of a lifesaving treatment called Daraprim by more than 5,000 percent overnight after buying up the drug. The drug is mostly used by AIDS and cancer patients as well as pregnant women.
