Under "People Who Inspire Jared" he posted 7 images:

In a strange post on "Daily KOS", "Blue Boy", a resident in Gifford's district and avid supporter posted, "My Congresswoman voted against Nancy Pelosi! And is now DEAD to me!" - POSTED by "Boy Blue" 2 DAYS BEFORE THE SHOOTINGS on Daily KOS - Thursday, January 6th, 2011 at 11:07"17 AM PST

An interesting read as "Boy Blue" goes on in the post to state that he is gay, was married and his spouse had left him a year ago on January 15th, 2010 so he attempted suicide and missed, shooting himself in the mouth resulting in serious injury.
Was Loughner influenced by this gun toting gay liberal's post? Loughner's scrubbed facebook page did reveal he is "interested in men".

Maybe Judge John Roll, the conservative Bush appointed judge who was killed by Loughner was also an intended target.
It also appears that Gifford's recent anti-debt and anti-deficit-spending rhetoric, as well as the anti-health care act rhetoric causing "Blue Boy's" rant as above prompted Loughner to take action as Giffords was tending more toward conservatism.

Last, Loughner probably targeted Representative Giffords 3-1/2 YEARS AGO ago in August, 2007 before anyone had heard of Sarah Palin, before the Tea Party existed, and before the rise of our alleged "climate of hate" in response to President Obama's election.
Loughner attended an August 2007 town-hall meeting and left angered at Giffords inability to answer his nonsensical question: "What is government if words have no meaning?"
