Illegals? They are only here because they are NEEDED. Take a drive through the Florida orange groves and look for the truck loads (literally) of them down there. It is the worst kept secret in Florida that the citrus industry runs off of illegal immigrants, because no one else will do that job for that money. They are the half hidden under-class of America. It would not bother me in the least if they were covered, but no one is saying they will be covered, except for the health insurance lobby who are scared of losing their HUGE profits.

The medical/health industry makes up 1/6th of the US economy. The American people pay 60% more for the crap coverage they get than the citizens of any other country in the western world pay for theirs.

The system is horribly broken and that, amongst other things, is what is bankrupting America. That and the giant ponzi scheme that the Republicans turned the American economy into.

Take profit out of health care and we can easily cover everyone and have even better care.

Cindi McCain says we have the best health care in the world. With all her money I don't doubt she gets good care, but they still have not cured her migraines.

Defensive medicine? Not our doctor, he offered to send me for a PSA test if it would make me feel better but suggested it would be a waste of time and money. He is the doctor, not me so I said forget it.

Of course none of our disease care plans would pay for the check-up. But hey, I only go every five years.
