I told him to remove the speakers from the store instantly and I will contact him next week to tell him how to sell these speakers best. And I told him that they are currently beyond my financial possibilty. A German Ebay seller offers one woofer (these transparent ones, you know) for 500 Euros.

You guys know how I am. I can't cheat somebody. Especially not this very kind person.

Okay - this is the end of the story - I told him that the value of these speakers in Germany is about 1200 Euros, if in perfect technical conditon. I showed to him a picture of the complex inside of the speakers and told him that nobody knows for how long they will work until a professional revision would become necessary and offered 800 Euros.

Well - he refused this offer and insisted on 500 Euros. He was not interested in getting the most possible profit (for example via Ebay). A nice man. Such a nice man.

After my computer course last night I hit Savers and found a mint LP of Two Generations Of Brubeck, Supertramp's Crime of the Century cd, and a NAD 1020b pre-amp. All for $13.51 after senior discount lol.

I will test the preamp on my Mitsubishi DA-A15DC soon. Pre-amps are rare scores.
Hope it works.

Not really a find on my part, they found me. Someone I bought speakers from a few years ago. A pair of 25Th Anniversary NLA's. He called me and wanted these gone........

Gotta test them out tomorrow and see what's what. All need foam and only one is working I'm told.

Yep! around 80lbs each. Was in the 80's with about the same humidity before the thunder storms came in. October???? Hard work loading them up.
Never seen or heard of the Advent Powered Loudspeakers until I was over picking up the other pair of NLA's.

KEFS at the Salvation Army.

Model iQ50 from the Q series. $50. Hardly nothing about them but one review from the UK say they are one of the best pair of speakers for under the American equivalent of $1000 you can buy. The detail and mid-range is pretty awesome but the bass seems a little light but I have them sitting on top of some other speaks lol.
