President Donald Trump on Sunday called the collision between the U.S. Navy guided missile destroyer USS John S. McCain and a tanker that left at least 10 sailors missing “too bad” before tweeting support for the sailor's families.

“That’s too bad,” the president said when asked about the incident, according to a pool report.

Another ridiculous post from this guy. Your slavering affection for your dear leader is showing again, Mike.

Please explain to me how criticizing the news media is "apologizing" for anyone? You can trust whoever you want, but we've seen cases where these anonymously sourced reports have been shown to be less than accurate, or at the very least out of context like this "quote" appears to be.

The original report, that you sourced, and your comments in your post, made it appear that the Prez had all the details of the incident before he made the alleged comment. Now it appears, if the Breitbart story is to be believed, that he didn't know the all the details when he made the alleged comment. For all we know, even if he made the comment, it was likely that, for all he knew, the two ships bumped into each other and sustained some damage, but he wasn't aware of any loss of life or injuries. If the remark occurred, it was in a response in passing to a question that a reporter shouted at him as he was leaving the room. We don't even know what the question was.

The reporting on this is crap, and the news should take responsibility for their crap.

Poor baby opens his mouth without knowing the facts and it's the press's fault that he did so? You are indeed an apologist for our Toddler-in-Chief.

Yes, and I seriously can't believe you. It's ridiculous to attack the report on this silly grounds. Pool reporting is a completely reliable operation, criticized only by enemies of the free press, who desire to control what is written. Trump administration attempts along these lines date back to January--see this reaction: http://publicnarrative.org/2017/01/j...e-pool-report/

Your endorsement of this bullshit puts the lie to any notion that you are anything but a totally-unprincipled Trump shill.
