I do not agree, but the owner is free to do as he wishes.

I don't see much left opposition to non-secret voting for unions after all.

So, in this case the right of a minority IS more important than the wishes or well being of the majority?

Are you really trying to tie this to CA?

Freedom of speech, a wonderful thing.

Say Noon.

Don't know about your radio, but mine has a great big knob on it, and when you turn it, a different station comes in.

Absolutely amazing!!!

I'll take the other sentence, Dave.

Pete, "Card Check" isn't new. It has been around since the '30s. The [currently proposed] law bypasses the election process, and a union is automatically formed, if it's determined that a majority of employees have signed the cards. That's what the plutocrats don't like.

So, you're suggesting that ignorance of what the opposition is up to is the preferred state?

Absolutely amazing!!!

a few years ago i heard an audio clip of boortz saying how, 'if two people, one wealthy, the other not, are drowning in the middle of a lake and it's only possible to rescue one, which one do you rescue?'

his answer was 'the wealthy one' because 'they can provide more jobs than the other person'.

i've never forgotten that. he disgusts me.

As I said in the opening post Chas, it's a station here in town so I do want to be aware of the goings on. I have never been big on burring my head in the sand.

he's just a dumb ass, who I have a problem with is the shallow minded followers who take such buffoonery as a burst of brilliance.

You know, I tried to adress this issue with a coworker one day by holding up a can of "economy" coffee and asking him; "Who buys this stuff? Billionaires? No, Kevin, poor people and working folks like us do. If we only sold to rich folks, we would be out of a job in the blink of an eye." He laughed and shook his head.

Idiot.
