I think those refer to DNC in Boston.

Although the NYC had "free speech areas" the NY police would set traps for
protesters and did not attempt to make any distinction between bystanders
and active protesters.

Cages are SOP iirc. I've been in one, it was interesting, and it serves a legit purpose imo.

Saw a news item last night about the Supremes hear the case brought by pro lifers complaining about the Massachussets 35 foot restriction zone around abortioon clinics being against their first ammendment rights.

All I can say is that if I was taking a woman into such a clinic on her doctors advice and someone got her face my fist would get in their face. You first amendment rights end at my arm's reach.

That's why I would support the buffer zone, it's such a volatile environment.

Funny how people get their knickers in a twist about the first and second while ignoring the fact that the fourth and sixth have been trashed. The Constitution is not an a la carte menu kiddies.

Indeed, somehow we've determined that as long as we can spout whatever garbage is floating around our heads when we want and own a weapon that we are "free".

I share your concerns about the trashing of the others and the relative lack of discussion regarding the same.
