I hope that one of the new options is for the original AK look with the Paragon.
The security features are what is important more than anything else though and it is sure is nice that we have Luther doing the upgrade because we know it will be done right with no corners cut.

The new look over at Steve Hoffman's forum was difficult at first but I got used to it.
The alert notices are cool.

"Change is inevitable. Change is constant." Benjamin Disraeli

Of course, we all wish that the change is for the better.

There is a story about how Robert Peel had found some dirt on a very young and fobbish Disraeli, who was in the habit of totally castigating said Peel in the House of Commons in front of everyone. Then one day Peel had the dirt on Disraeli and could have completely obliterated his career by speaking openly about it to the whole Parliament.

But he held back. And Disraeli eventually became the Prime Minister.

Always loved that story...Peel had class. I hope it was Peel...I read the biography on Disrael in 1985.

Sorry for the digression.

I guess I was alluding to his early "dandyism"...he wore outrageous clothing for a minister in his early days. I think it was Peel. The BBC mini-series from the late 80s shown on Masterpiece Theater is really great. He is portrayed by the same actor who played the mayor in Deadwood.

Videokarma and PC.org should remain online during the upgrades.
