Exactly why I liked it, we are all different. Don't get more wrong 14 hours on your knees in the hot sun day after day has no glamor but overall it was worth it. When I did it laborers as myself were excluded from minimum wage and overtime. I didn't like that much. Still wish I could have found a way to finance a farm for myself to work when I saw young and strong, I tried.

You do keep me entertained old buddy. I'd love to own an old Massey tractor, but where would I park it if I moved back top Manhattan?

You'll find plenty of tractors around Manhattan, Kansas, where they affectionately refer to themselves as the "little apple." (The home of K-state, who has a pretty fair basketball team.)

I am no fan of K-State (Big East guy, of course) but I did pick them to win the tournament. I do recognize what a talented team they are, obviously.

Not the best March Madness for me. My Sooners didn't even qualify for the NIT, and now it looks like the point guard is defecting. Both boys go to KU, who saw their fantastic season crumble in one game. Such is the nature of sports. In every fantastic upset, there has to be an extremely disappointed loser.

As a Big East guy, you must have been a huge fan of Billy Tubbs.

Regards,

D-Ray

March Madness hasn't been good to me either (I follow Maryland, Georgetown, Marquette, and Virginia Tech (who didn't make it to the dance)). All of them are now out. OTOH, it's a great tournament this year - one of the best in recent memory. I guess I'll cheer for Syracuse because of the Big East connection, but wouldn't mind seeing a Cinderella team go much further.

For you east coast guys, Cornell ought to be a favorite Cinderella, except for the Ivy League snob factor.

Right now I feel about the same about the Big East as I do about the healthcare bill.

Dang. You must be in good shape in your pool. By picking K-State to win, you have most likely picked the final four participant from that region. I doubt many others had Cornell in the sweet sixteen. I won't mention my picks.

D-Ray
